A boutique hotel in Kanata built for grand celebrations. Here’s why it consistently delivers some of the most unforgettable moments I’ve ever photographed.

Brookstreet is where you go when your guest list is long and you want the day to feel genuinely grand. It’s a boutique hotel in Kanata — about 20 minutes from downtown — with ballrooms made for large weddings. There’s also an outdoor pavilion if you want the ceremony or reception under open sky, and a golf course next door for guests who want to make a full weekend of it.

Big venues mean big moments — and Brookstreet always delivers. I’ve photographed a confetti toss down the aisle here that I still think about. A traditional Chinese tea ceremony where the couple changed into stunning red outfits and served tea to their families. And then a dragon dance that genuinely stopped the room.

Those are the moments you can’t plan for. You just have to be ready. And at Brookstreet, there’s always something worth being ready for.
